Graveside services for Ms. Doris Odine Russell Guthrie will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Noxapater, MS. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at John E. Stephens Chapel. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Guthrie, 94, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Philadelphia, MS. She lived most of her life in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was a member of Noxapater Baptist Church, and her hobbies were reading and tending to her cats and she loved her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dee Guthrie; parents, James Claude Russell, Florence Coleman Russell; son, Paul R. Guthrie; sister, Irene Curto; brother, James Russell.

Survivors: grandson, John Guthrie; (2) great-grandchildren, Ella Parker, Anna Kate; cousin/caregiver, Reba Coward (Jim) and other cousins, Nancy, Tommy, Jeffery, Johnny, Don, Mike, LeAnn, And Byron.
