Devonte Daniel Cruz Bell

Funeral services for Mr. Devonte Daniel Cruz Bell were held at 2 PM Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Spirit of Life Christian Center with Deacon Curtis Willis officiating. 

Interment was in Pearl River Community Cemetery. Visitation was at 12 PM Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the home of Coyo York, 132 Cemetery Road, Choctaw, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Bell, 24, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. He lived in Philadelphia all his life. He enjoyed playing baseball, stickball for Beaver Dam, drawing, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was also a big Ohio State fan. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Virgina Dale Dixon, Archie and Reece Wallace; step grandpa, Harold Carlisle; stepdad, Timothy York Sr. 

Survivors include his mother, Jeanette Denson; father, Edwin Bell (Jennifer); special friend, Chandalisha Wesley; daughter, Mi’Kylie D’Rose Bell; sons, Ze’Kai Omari Ombachi Wesley, Kayde Nosikah Ninnak Iklanna Reed; stepdaughters, La’Lylah and Zay’Leyanah Wesley; sisters, Coyo York, Mahala York; brothers, Cody Stoliby, Timothy “Mogie” York Jr., Ian Earl Sam Bell; grandparents, Daniel Dixon (Sherry); aunts, Nashima Anderson, Ashton Shumake, Amber Anderson, Danielle Dixon,Edin Littlevoice, Melissa Littlevoice, Junita Littlevoice, Laura Cooley; uncles, Charles Tubby, Daniel Tubby, Albert Littlevoice, Carl Hickman, Willis Hickman Jr., Eric Hickman, Danny Anderson Jr.; (1) niece, Evelyn Dale Farmer; (2) nephews, and a host of family and friends.
