A Neshoba County man was arrested with a felony amount of cocaine during an early morning traffic stop on Road 632 near Cooks Chapel on the Fourth of July.

Kenenth M. Williams, 39, 10830 Road 163, was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Sheriff Eric Clark said Williams was in possession of a felony amount of cocaine when he was arrested on Monday, July 4.

“Williams was caught with a felony possession on a check point on Road 632,” Clark said.

The stop happened at the intersection where Road 632 and Road 491 intersect.

Jail records show Williams was arrested before 2 a.m. and posted $10,000 in bond around 11 a.m. that morning.
