Services were held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. from McLain Chapel Pentecostal Church with Rev. J. W. Jenkins officiating.  Burial followed in McLain Chapel Cemetery in Neshoba County.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  

Mary Colleen Braxton Crocker, born April 25, 1944, was called home to Glory on March 4, 2023. 

A native of the Arlington Community of Neshoba County, she graduated from NCHS in 1963.  She supported her husband Ray in his military career; and received multiple awards for her service to the military and civil communities.  She enjoyed cooking and gardening, especially roses.  Mrs. Crocker was a member of McLain Chapel Pentecostal Church and taught Sunday School for many years.

Colleen, as she was known by all, dedicated her life and love to her family, friends, and her Savior, leaving a legacy of a Godly example to all she met.  

She leaves behind William Ray Crocker, her beloved husband of 57 years; three children, Lillian Shank (Doug) of Philadelphia, Floyd Crocker (Chena) of Dinwiddie, VA, and James Crocker (Mary) of Fort Knox, KY; six grandchildren, Crystal, Jessica, Sarah, Catherine, Audrey and Abigail; four great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Munn of the Linwood Community; and brother, Richard Braxton of Harlingen, TX. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mary Braxton; sisters, Lavell Chesteen, Jean Jordan, and Rosanne Lyons; brothers, Oliver “Brother” Braxton and Michael Braxton. 

Pallbearers were Daniel Winkler, Caleb Raines, Wyatt Parson, Michael Dahn, Daniel Dempsey, Carey Brown, Ryan Kidd, and Simeon Deweese.  Honorary pallbearers were Shelby Anthony and David Anthony.
