The Bok Homa Casino held its 12th Anniversary Celebration last Tuesday with a large celebration, and Tribal Chief Cyrus Ben attended with many other Tribal Council members.

The casino, located at 1 Choctaw Road in Heidelberg, opened in Dec. 2010.

The name Bok Homa means “red creek” in Choctaw and offers high-energy gaming thrills 24 hours a day, from slot machines, live table games, virtual table games, and sports betting along with a Lucky’s Restaurant with grab-n-go meals.

Tribal Chief and Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise Chairman Cyrus Ben attended the celebration, along with 2022-2023 Choctaw Indian Princess Cadence Raine Nickey. Tribal Council members Mike Briscoe and Demando Mingo, Bok Homa Casino and Pearl River Resort officials, and casino guests gathered together to celebrate the occasion.

There was even a special appearance by Seymour the Eagle, the University of Southern Mississippi's mascot.

During the celebration, plans for expansion of the Bok Homa Casino were announced, and following the ceremony, guests were invited to receive complimentary t-shirts, cake, a gift and food.

The Tribe extended a huge congratulations to the Bok Homa Casino on 12 years of success and a thank you to each and every hardworking Associate who helps to bring that success to the casino.
