Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music Board of Directors announced on Tuesday the selection of Ardenland as its new management company, succeeding Buck Alman, who served as Interim Production Manager.

Ardenland comes to this role with over 25 years specializing in concert promotion, festival management, corporate events, private parties, fund-raising, and more.

“We are committed to excellence at the Ellis, from the administrative staff to the talent that appears on the stage,” said Marty Stuart. “I understand while we are getting established that it will be an ongoing process in the quest of getting everything up to the highest standards possible. I believe Arden and his team will bring a level of professionalism that is second to none. I look forward to collaborating with him.”

The Ellis Theater, which reopened last December, is just Phase I of a $40 million project, which will eventually house Marty Stuart’s immense collection of country music artifacts he plans to sell to the museum to draw visitors from across the region.

"To have the opportunity to work alongside Marty Stuart is as good as it gets,” said Arden Barnett, owner of Ardenland.  “Marty and all of us at Ardenland share a common vision; to elevate The Ellis Theater to its fullest potential as a beacon of pride for Philadelphia, the State of Mississippi and the USA."

Ardenland assumed their new role in time for Philly Hillbilly Rockin’ Round Up, Featuring Junior Brown, which will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.
