Annie Sue Monk

Services for Annie Sue Monk were Friday, May 21, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. from Crossroads Church of God in Sebastopol.  Burial followed in Damascus Cemetery.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Monk, 67, of Scott County, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

Born in Homewood, MS, of Smith County, she grew up in Lake, MS, where she attended school at Lake High School.  She worked in the manufacturing industry for several years. She was a member of Crossroads Church of God.

Survivors include daughter, Jennifer Keene of Kemper County; son, Bobby Monk, Jr., of Leake County; two grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Ferguson and Brenda Ferguson; brothers, James, Paul, Hubert, and George Shuler. 

Ms. Monk was preceded in death by her firstborn daughter, Rebecca Sue Monk; mother, Wilma Golden Shuler; father, Hubert Shuler; sisters, Hattie Goodson and Jean Duell; brothers, Bill, Cooper, Randy and Johnny Shuler.
