Abbie Mae Chapman

Funeral service for Mrs. Abbie Mae Chapman will be held at 2 PM Friday, March 10, 2023 at Bogue Homa CERF Building with interment in Bogue Homa Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Bogue Homa CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge. 

Mrs. Chapman, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Douglas Nickey and Maudie Lewis Nickey; daughters, Sonya Nickey and Leah Hamilton; son, Myron Chapman.

Survivors include husband, Claude Chapman; daughter, Alison Barnes; sons, Douglas Chapman, Curtis Chapman; sister, Annie Nickey; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Pallbearers are Samuel Bell, Michael Briscoe, Jeremy McMillan, Jeremy Davis, Benjamin Lewis.
