1 suspect identified in drive-by

Police have a suspect in a drive-by shooting on Lewis Avene Monday afternoon.

The shooting was reported near Adkins Street at about 3:30 p.m. and was the second in town Monday afternoon.

No injuries were reported in the Lewis Avenue shooting. 

The driver of a white four-door car shot at a grey SUV traveling north on Lewis striking three times near the driver’s door. 

Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons said a possible suspect has been identified and they hope to make an arrest soon.

Earlier in the day officers responded to a shooting on Valley View Drive that injured a man.

“Both shootings were unrelated,” Lyons said.
