Rebelettes start off season with 3 wins

The Leake Academy girls lost four seniors and the majority of scoring from last season.
But the Rebelettes didn’t let any of that bother them as they started off the season with three wins last week. Leake opened the season on Monday at the MRA Tournament with a 64-31 win over Bayou Academy. Then on Wednesday, Leake took a big 42-41 win over Madison-Ridgeland Academy before finishing the week on Thursday with a 64-45 win over Copiah.
The Leake boys played once last week, beating Copiah 62-30 on Thursday.
Leake will return to play this week as they host Jackson Academy on Tuesday and will travel to Columbus Christian on Thursday.
