CLASS REUNION

The NCHS class of 1969 will hold its 55th reunion on October 19, 2024 at Ronnie’s Steakhouse, 734 Pecan Avenue, Philadelphia, MS. Registration will be from 5:00-6:00 PM with a buffet meal to follow. Each attendee will be responsible for their meal plus tip. As no formal invitations were mail, we request each classmate notify other classmates and encourage them to attend. CENTRAL WATER

ASSOCIATION

   Central Water Association will have its annual “Meeting of Members” at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Central Water office located at 915 Valley View Drive.  All members are welcome to attend.

CHURCH HOMECOMING

   New County Line Baptist Church will have homecoming services on Sunday, October 13th, beginning at 10:00 AM. Lunch will follow in the fellowship hall. 

Everyone is invited to attend. The church is located on Highway 427, near Edinburg. 

PANCAKE SUPPER

   The Philadelphia Rotary Club is hosting its annual pancake supper Monday, Oct. 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the Northside Park Senior Citizens Center. The cost is $8 per ticket. 

This will be a drive-thru supper only, no dining in. 

Purchase tickets from any Rotary member. Proceeds from the pancake supper will go towards Rotary Club Community Service Projects. 

FUNDRAISER

   On Saturday, October 19, 2024, The "More Than Just Pink Sisters Organization" will have their 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Banquet at Bridges/The Venue (234 Byrd Avenue). The event will be from 6-8 p.m. Dr. Nicole Powe of The Women's Institute will be the keynote speaker. The attire for the evening will be Semi Formal/Formal. The donation cost will be $25.00 per ticket. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards helping our local breast cancer patients.

BENEFIT AUCTION

   Benefit Auction for Chief Ray Coats with Lane Taylor. November 2nd. 9AM-until. Selling hamburger and hot dog plates at Linwood Station1 11971 Rd 325, Union. 

ELECTIONS

   To The Citizens of Neshoba County MS: Logistic & Accuracy Testing for Elections will be held in the Neshoba County Courthouse on October 9, 2024 and October 16, 2024 pursuant to Miss. Code Ann §23-15-531.6(3)(b).
