Sarah Alice Fulton was one of the participants in the MAX "Write for Success Program" which was held in Meridian recently. Her parents, Rob and Rozanne Richardson Fulton, listened to Sarah Alice read some of the poetry she had written during the week at a special presentation by students who had attended the program.

Rozanne highly recommends visiting the MAX to explore all they have to offer. The MAX is The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience which has many programs for various ages, including adults.

Sunday Mass on July 23 was held at the Tullos cabin at the Fairgrounds. Father Jafir George presided at the service assisted by Byron Tullos which was open to all who wished to attend.  It has been a tradition to hold a Catholic Mass during the Fair on Sunday for many years. The Tullos cabin is in a perfect location for this church service. Thank you to the Joe Tullos family for sharing your cabin space and to Father George to celebrate the mass. This was Father George’s first Fair!

Precious Nan Phillips Langston celebrated her first birthday at her first Fair. She is the granddaughter of Terry and Susy Jordan.

The Jordan cabin door was decorated with a huge balloon arch of pastel balloons punctuated with flowers made of balloons.  Nan had a pretty smash cake which she seemed to enjoy as she dived into it. She looked so cute. Her parents are John and Whitten Jordan Langston who live in Memphis.
