The First United Methodist Church held its annual Father-Daughter Dance on February 24 in the Family Life Center. Girls wearing pretty party dresses and wrist corsages entered with their fathers who looked so handsome.

As usual, the committee did an excellent job of planning the event with a beautifully decorated room and food for all of the guests. Fathers and daughters had fun dancing together with a lot of laughter from some of the couples when one stepped on another's toes! There was a corner for pictures to take home as a memento of the evening.

It was an extra special evening for Mary Mosley Pickering who attended her first Father-Daughter Dance on the arm of her father, Blake Pickering. Mary Mosley has been very ill and was finally well enough for the much anticipated event. It was a fun evening!

HARDY performed at the Ellis Theater on Wednesday night and by all accounts, it was a spectacular event! He gave a show that surpassed all expectations.  One sweet note, his grandparents, Bobby and Joyce Hardy, were seated in the wings off stage. They were thrilled by this honor. What a special night for the Hardy family!
