The Grand Marshall for the Noxapater Christmas Parade on Dec. 2  was none  other than Philadelphia’s own Woody Reed! He owns Woody’s, a convenience store in the middle of town with a variety of merchandise from gas to hot lunches, and all kinds of cold drinks along with many other selections.

His son, Shane Reed, and wife, Kaitlyn came with their children, his daughter, Amy Reed Eubanks and her son, Reed, and Aspen Reed, and Woody’s wife, Elisa Reed, all cheered Woody on. It was a fun evening for the family! Congratulations!

Precious little Frances Collier Long was baptized in the First Presbyterian Church in Corinth recently. She looked beautiful in her long white gown. She did not make a sound but kept on smiling.

Her two big brothers, Randall, 5, and Ross, 2, watched the proceedings very closely. She is the daughter of Ben and Allison McCarver Long. Her great-grandmother is Shirley Webb Cox of Philadelphia. Congratulations!
