COVID-19 vaccine available to 65+ in Neshoba County
Thursday, Friday and registration is required
The COVID-19 vaccine will be available again at the Neshoba County Coliseum on Thursday and Friday, but registration is required.
The state of Mississippi is currently giving COVID-19 immunizations for the following :
• All healthcare workers and EMT/paramedics
• Those age 65+
• Those with pre-existing conditions

“We encourage everyone to take this vaccine, when available for your age group or work status,” Neshoba General hospital said on its Facebook page.
Vaccines were given Monday and Tuesday in Neshoba County.
Wednesday's Democrat had gone to press by the time Gov. Tate Reeves announced mid-afternoon the COVID-19 vaccination extension to the 65-plus category and those with pre-existing conditions.
The vaccine will be made available at the hospital.
