STEM Academy in New Orleans

Jhunesti Johnson, an 8th grader at Philadelphia Middle School, participated in Xavier University’s inaugural Summer STEM Academy in New Orleans. She learned programming skills to code robots, including ones she powered to move underwater, and enriched her mathematics skills.
She received special honors for her presentation on overfishing.
