Sherry Cockrell Copeland

Memorial service for Ms. Sherry Cockrell Copeland will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at John E. Stephens Chapel. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at John E. Stephens Chapel. 

Ms. Copeland, 72, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Anderson-Baptist Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, crocheting and needlework. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie L. Cockrell and Eula Wilcher Cockrell Williams; granddaughter, Josie Copeland. 

Survivors include son, Joe Copeland; sisters, Jeanie (Carl) McMillan, Judy (Leon) Jolly; brothers, Dr. Mike (Lisa) Cockrell, Johnny (Lhet) Cockrell; 1 grandchild, Maci Copeland; several nieces and nephews.
