Larry Savell

Funeral services for Bro. Larry Savell were 3 PM Sunday, May 5, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Ben McDaniel, Rev. Nels Norris, and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment was in Fellowship Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements. 

Bro. Savell, 76, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at his home in Neshoba County where he has lived most of his life. He worked at U.S. Motors as a Supervisor for 35 years and he was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was saved and ordained at New Black Jack Baptist Church. His favorite hobby was deer hunting. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Mozell and Marion Estelle Savell, stepmother, Gloria Jean Savell; sister, Imogene Hyche Stroud; brother, Arzell Hyche. 

Survivors include wife, Hazel Savell; sons, Kevin Crapps, Tim Crapps (Delica), Mark Crapps, Jeff Crapps (Faye); sister, Brenda Landrum; (12) grandchildren; (17) great-grandchildren.
