Donavan Neil McMillan

Funeral services for Mr. Donavan Neil McMillan were held at 10 AM Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Tucker Gym with Bro. Glen Pace officiating. Interment was in the Tucker Community Cemetery. 

Visitation was at 10 AM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Tucker Gym. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. McMillan, 56, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at his home. He was a member of the MS State Honor Guard for 11 years and enjoyed basketball, stickball, serving the youth, drumming and working out in the yard. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence McMillan and Joy Sampson McMillan; brother, James Edward Sampson. 

Survivors include wife, Jackie McMillan; bonus daughters, Jacquline Boyd, Misty Sutton, Corrinne Wade; sons, Sammy Jefferson, Tristain McMillan, Dakota Jefferson, Kendrick Jefferson; sister, Laura Sam; aunt and uncle, Shirley Dean Sampson and Jasper Ronald Sampson; 23 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

Pallbearers are Tommy Malone, Ken Pruitt, William Turner, Billy Jenkins, Christopher Gregory, Joseph Summerland, Eric Johnson, Ashley McMillan, Larry McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be the MS State Guard and State Honor Guard. Fire Keepers are Alex McMillan and Andrew Dixon.
