A Neshoba County woman was arrested twice for two separate disruptive instances at Neshoba Central Elementary on Sept. 16.

Chelsey Collins, 27, of 1066 Frog Level Apt. 11, was charged with disorderly conduct, careless driving and two warrants for child neglect. She was later arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm on school property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.

Clark said Collins was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, when the school resource officer, a Neshoba County deputy, saw her driving in a careless manner near Neshoba Central Elementary School.

Clark said she was released about three hours later on her own recognizance but returned to the school later and got into a confrontation with school staff later that afternoon. She was then found to be in possession of a firearm and controlled substances.

Neshoba County jail records show that Collins bonded out at approximately 10 a.m. Sept. 18 on $31,600 in bond.
