Funeral service for Ms. Willie May Wilson were held 2 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Bogue Chitto Gym with Rev. Thomas Ben officiating. Interment will be in the Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. V

isitation was 12 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Bogue Chitto Gym. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements. 

Ms. Wilson, 68, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in Springfield, IL. She lived most of her life in the Bogue Chitto Community. She was Baptist by Faith. Her hobbies were working in flower beds, crossword puzzles, shopping with her daughters and sisters, and she loved her grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Leroy Wilson Jr.; parents, G.W. Bell and Ann Frazier Bell; daughter, Cinnika Wilson; sisters, Juanita Chapman, Junie Cabrera, Lorene Cumberland; brothers, Elmer, Elon, Levon Bell. 

Survivors include daughter, Shawnee Hanna; sons, Leroy Wilson III, Dakota Frye; sisters, Rena Bell, Brenda Bell; (18) grandchildren; (6) great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: Leroy Wilson III, Dakota Frye, Alex Lacy, Tavion Bond, Rafael Logan, Amurion Bond, Kenneth Wallace, Lorenzo Bell.
