Willie Marvin Anderson, age 93, born January 7, 1927, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Neshoba General Hospital with COVID in Philadelphia, MS, and moved to his heavenly home.

A graveside service was held at Bloomo Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2020, with Rev Jerry Bishop officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. 

The family requests donations to be made to Center Hill Baptist Church in his memory.

He was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church, Philadelphia, MS, and loved his Lord and Savior. He was a lifetime farmer and car salesman. He loved his land and riding on his tractor. 

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Anita Miles Anderson; son, Terry Wayne Anderson and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Cannon Anderson, (Philadelphia, MS) and daughter, Sarah Louise Anderson Yates-Wallace (Brandon, MS).

He is also survived by grandchildren, Amber Dawn Anderson O’Hanian (Hoover, AL), Skye De’Wayne Welch (Brandon, MS), Shawn Ryan Yates (Magnolia, TX), Justin Kyle Yates (Montgomery, TX); great grandchildren, Avery Layne Yates, Kennedy Ryan Yates, Ruston Yates, Easton Yates (Magnolia, TX), Madelyn Skylar Welch, Presley Taylor Welch (Brandon, MS), Kelsey Schronce (Huntsville, AL), Daniel O’Hanian (Auburn,  AL) Kylie Yates and Kynlie Yates (Montgomery, TX); and great-great grandson, Easton James Hussey (Huntsville, AL).

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by parents, John William Anderson and Onie Bell Jackson Anderson; daughter, Donna Lynn Anderson Bustin; sisters, Effie Jones, Lilly Barrett, Sadie Warren, and Syble  McAdory; brothers, Earnest, Bud, Alvin,  Claudie, Hickman, and Otis Anderson. 

He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Warren Patsel;  nephews, Jessie Barrett, Buntyn Barrett, Irvin Jones, Thomas Jones,  Billy Joe Warren, Jimmy Dale Anderson, Edward Earl Anderson, Prentiss Anderson, and Durwood Anderson; nieces, Frances Jones Parker, Waldean Jones Whittle, Catherine Jones Cochran, Kathy Deen Anderson Sims, Marie Anderson Johnson, Peggy Anderson Martin, and Jan Warren.

He is survived by nephews, Tommy Anderson, Robert Anderson, Larry Anderson, Lee Anderson,  Danny Anderson,  Randy Anderson, Michael Anderson, and Jerry Warren; his nieces, Ima Jean Anderson Johnson, Sue Anderson Wood, Lisa Anderson Jones, Kathy McDonald, Mary Ann Pebbles, Debi Wharton, Brenda Rickles, Nell Anderson Armstrong, Patricia Warren Whittington, and Gwen Warren Graves.
