Willie G. Jones

Graveside services for Mr. Willie Gene Jones were held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 1 P.M. from Mars Hill Church of God in Christ with Pastor Rodney Baker officiating. Beck Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones, 77, of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at his home.  

He is survived by his wife, Margarett Jones of Philadelphia, MS, two daughters, Cynthia Hamilton of Detriot, MI, and Tracey Cooper of Texas, four step children, Tammy Plummer of Gulfport, MS, Sharlene Groves and Karen Tanksley both of Philadelphia, MS, two sister, two brothers, 26 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Anthony August, Darius Davis, Bobby Groves, Ken Jones, Bobby Johnson and Amos Wells.
