Willie Cotton

Funeral service for Mr. Willie Cotton will be held at 10 AM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Crystal Ridge Gym with interment in Mingo Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Crystal Ridge Gym.  John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Cotton, 73, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS.  His hobbies included watching football, baseball, cutting grass, playing outside with his grandkids and his roosters, Odell and Big Red.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Cotton and Hattie Chapman; daughter, Debra Thames; sisters, Sarah Cotton, Ora Mae Galvan, Rosie Sam; brothers, Junior Cotton, James Cotton, Cillo Cotton, Jimmy Cotton.

Survivors include common law wife, Gloria Cotton; daughters, Melissa Bell, Teresa Anderson, Lois Hickman; son, David Hickman; sister, Elaine Isaac; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
