Willie Charles Smith

Funeral service for Mr. Willie Charles Smith was held 11 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens and Rev. Larry McMillan officiating. Interment was in Beatline Cemetery. Visitation was 5-8 PM Monday, June 20, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Smith, 78, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Neshoba General Nursing Home. He lived in the Beatline community most of his life and was a member of Beatline Baptist Church. He worked at Weyerhaeuser for many years, and his hobbies were gardening, fishing, and hunting.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. Smith and Ora Maude Banks Smith; sisters, Charlotte Ann Dean and Sue Hanna; In-laws, George and Helen Young.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Smith; daughter, DeAnna Richmond (Chris); son, Charles Darron Smith (Sherry); brother, Jimmy Banks Smith; (4) grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
