William E. “Bill” Walker, Jr.

Graveside services for William E. “Bill” Walker, Jr., were held Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from East Lawn Cemetery in Philadelphia with Bro. David Richardson officiating.   McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mr. Walker, 66, of Walnut Grove, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

Born and raised in Houston, MS, he graduated high school as salutatorian of Chickasaw Academy in 1971; and was a 1977 graduate of MSU with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  He owned Walker & Associates in Philadelphia.  Bill was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include daughters, Meredith Young of Conway, AR, and Morgan Wirt of Brandon; son, Will Walker of Brandon; three grandchildren; sister, Anita Easom and brother, Barry Walker, both of Philadelphia. 

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by mother, Marilyn Weatherford; father, William E. Walker, Sr.; and brother-in-law, Charles Easom.
