Warriors win over Ingomar

Both Choctaw Central teams went 1-2 in prep basketball action last week.

The Lady Warriors, now 7-3, defeated Jackson Prep 70-54. They lost a 77-67 decision to Neshoba Central and 64-62 decision to Ingomar.

In their win over Jackson Prep, Tayla Willis led the Lady Warriors with 17 points, while Malaka Morris and Kylynn Bell scored 15 points each. Bell scored 18 points against Neshoba Central and Raiyleigh Perry 12 points.

The Choctaw Central boys picked a 71-55 win over Ingomar. They lost a 55-54 to Neshoba Central and a 45-44 loss to Jackson Prep. Abram Cotton was the leading scorer against Ingomar.  Peyton Mingo added 12 points. Cotton led the Warriors with 13 points against both Neshoba Central and Jackson Prep.

The Warriors teams were to play Kemper County last night and will travel to Oklahoma for three games this weekend.
