The Union Yellow Jackets blanked the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers 35-0 Friday night in the district opener. 

At the 9:52 mark of the first quarter K’Yon Harris scored a 4-yard rushing touchdown to put Union on the board and it was downhill for the Tigers after that. 

At the 8:07 mark of the second quarter, Xavier Boler ran for a 20-yard touchdown. With four minutes remaining in the second quarter, Harris would find pay dirt once again. He completed a 19-yard run for a touchdown. 

At halftime, Union led 21-0.

At the 7:35 mark of the third quarter Boler ran for a 3-yard touchdown. With 41 seconds left in the third quarter Harris would cap off the scoring with his third touchdown of the night. 

Samuel Alawine was busy kicking five successful PAT’s on the night. There was no scoring in the fourth quarter of the game. 

Boler finished with 220 yards and two touchdowns for the night. Harris ran for 54 yards and 3 touchdowns. Union improved to 4-2 on the season and 1-0 in district play.
