Tyler Lane Amos

Funeral service for Mr. Tyler Lane Amos was held 2 PM Friday February 24, 2023, at Bogue Chitto Facility Building with Rev. Thomas Ben and Rev. Doby Henry officiating. Interment in the Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. Visitation was10 AM Wednesday February 22, 2023, at Bogue Chitto Facility Building. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Amos, 32, passed away Saturday February 18, 2023, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. He lived most of his life in the Bogue Chitto Community where he was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church and Bogue Chitto Development Club. His hobbies were hanging with friends, mentoring youth, traveling, eating, fishing, and coaching.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Sammy Williams; great-grandmother, Christine Bell Amos.

Survivors include his parents, Amilcar Tilson Williams and Tianie Amos; grandmothers, Donna Williams, Janice Amos; sister, Anna York, Christiana Jean Amos; brothers, Antwan Amos, Braxton Amos, Trevon Williams.
