A traffic stop one night last week on County Road 2426 netted three drug arrests and what authorities referred to as “a considerable amount” of crystal methamphetamine.

Leslie Buchannon Henderson III, 45, of 10877 Highway 397, Preston, was arrested and charged with possession of controlled substance, careless driving and driving under the influence.

Kimberly Gentry, 44, of 10762 Road 2426, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Ashley Nicole Williams, 39, of 2145 Campground Road, Lauderdale, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Sheriff Eric Clark said that all three were charged with felony possession of a controlled substance believed to be meth.

Clark said a DUI officer pulled the trio over on June 28 around 9:45 p.m. Henderson was driving a black Nissan Altima with Lauderdale County plates.

Clark said the officer then discovered “a considerable amount of meth” between the three suspects.
