Teenager charged with shooting another teen

A Philadelphia teenager has been arrested and charged as an adult in connection with shooting another teenager Friday evening on Bennett Street.

Jaboris Matthews, 16, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, Philadelphia Police Det. Bobby Pattillo said.

Matthews was arrested after evidence was collected and the victim and witnesses were interviewed, he said.

Pattillo said the victim, also 16 years old, was not injured and was able to identify Matthews.
