Teen shot in drive-by Sunday
A bullet grazed a female juvenile after shots were fired into a home on Christine Street Sunday night.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Christine Street to a report of shots fired at about 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 27.
Witnesses advised of several rounds being fired in the area at the time of the shooting, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.
Several rounds were fired into a residence there, and the 16-year-old female was grazed on the knee as she stood in the kitchen, Lyons said.
“The juvenile was not taken to hospital and only suffered minor injuries,” Lyons said.
Witnesses told investigators they observed what was believed to be a black car leaving the area after the shots were fired.
“This case is still under investigation,” Lyons said.
