Funeral services for Syble Mae Wilson were held Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 2 p.m. from New Zion United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Randall Dunaway and Rev. Jason Martin officiating. Burial followed in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wilson, 96, of Philadelphia, died Monday, January 4, 2021.

She was a native and longtime resident of the Fork Community of Neshoba County and was retired from Wells-Lamont of Philadelphia.  Mrs. Wilson was a member of New Zion United Pentecostal Church where she served as Sunday School Secretary for many years.

Survivors include daughters, Glenda Warren of Philadelphia, Annette (Cecil) Jones of Philadelphia and Sherry Andrews of Biloxi; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother, Willard (Barbara) Benson of Philadelphia; sisters, Itra Pendinger and Inez Robertson, both of Philadelphia, and Alice (Gene) Linton of Indian Trail, N.C.; brother-in-law, W.M. Alexander of Philadelphia; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Wilson; son-in-law, Charles Warren; parents, Sol and Lillian Benson; sisters, Lois Lovern and Mattie Sue Alexander; brother, Howard Benson; two great-great-grandchildren, Crimson and Evie Fisher.
