Sarah Ruth Johnson

Funeral service for Ms. Sarah Ruth Johnson will be held at 10 AM Monday, August 30, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Macedonia Baptist Church.  John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Johnson, 82, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Choctaw Health Center in Choctaw, MS.  Her hobbies included basketry work, fishing, gardening, being around family, playing card games.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Johnson; parents, Tony Williams and Mary Alice Denson; sisters, Sarina Anderson, Jimpson Williams, Johnson Williams, James Marvin Williams, Jesse Williams.

Survivors include daughters, Dina Thomas, Dalla John, Peggy Patrick; sons, Gary Johnson, Billy Johnson, Terry Johnson, Aaron Johnson; 20 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Rockky Isom, Sedrick Williams, Kelby Anderson, Rodgrick Anderson, Jaric Anderson, Sr., Derek Reynolds, Shaun Jimmie, Sherman Bell, Jessie James Williams.
