Sallie Doris Sharp Edwards

Graveside service for Ms. Sallie Doris Sharp Edwards will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Golden Grove Cemetery with Rev. Donna Sellers officiating. There will be no visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.

Ms. Edwards, 72, passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday, August 2, 2020. She was born and lived on the family place in Neshoba County, was a social worker in Central Mississippi and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Member of Golden Grove Methodist Protestant Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Leanna Warren Sharp; Husband, Billy Ross Edwards; Brothers, Perry, Jack, and Derrell Keith Sharp.

Survivors are her daughters, Jackie Griffin (Danny) and Debbie Foreman (Jason); Son, Billy Derrell Edwards; Sisters, Sarah Choate, Zona Fortenberry and Myrtis Edwards; Brother, William Sharp; (4) Grandchildren; (3) Great-Grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews.
