Ruth Karen Smith

Funeral services for Ms. Ruth Karen Smith will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Conehatta Gym with Bro. Tim Tubby and Deacon Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Monday, March 3, 2025 at her home, 591 Hoye Pace Road. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Smith, 56, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Merit Health River Oaks. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Her hobbies include sewing, reading, listening to music, going to church, spending time with family and friends, watching tv, fishing and hunting. She liked to joke, travel and shop.

Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Allene Willis Dixon and Cecil Dixon; sisters, Stacey Dixon, Gloria Bell; brothers, Darryl Bell, Raynard Bell, Gary Bell, Bobby Bell.

Survivors include daughters, Cenitra Smith, Cinidria Smith; sons, Cody Smith, Ethan Smith; sisters, Patty Dixon, Rosie Dixon, Levinie Bell; brothers, Cecil Dixon, Jr., Richard Dixon, Donald Bell
