Funeral services for Mr. Roger Mark Brown were 2 PM Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Steve Parrish and Rev. Shane Freeman officiating. Interment in Henry’s Chapel Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge.

Mr. Brown, 57, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home in Ecru, MS. He was born and raised in Neshoba County, but lived the last 34 years in Pontotoc County where he was a member of Greatest Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the Marines and National Guard for 28 years.

Preceded in death by dad, Roger Auburn Brown, stepmom, Dorothy Brown; infant son, Jamieson Mark Brown.

Survivors: wife of 34 years, Janet Brown; mother, Jan Roberson, stepfather, William Roberson; daughter, Symanthia Brown; sons, Matthew Brown, Jonathan Brown (Alex); sisters, Sandra Matthews (Richard), Lisa Culpepper (Tim); Stepsister, Erica Gray (Jason); (3) grandchildren, Cohen, Rhett, Sullykate; (2) nieces; (1) nephew.
