Rockets pick up three region victories

The Neshoba Central baseball team picked up three Region 3-5A victories last week and entered this week with a 5-2 record.

The Rockets beat Canton High School 13-0, 14-1 and 15-0. On Saturday, Neshoba Central blew Louisville out 17-0

Neshoba Central has four games scheduled for this week. They were to host Scott Central on Monday and Ridgeland on Tuesday. They visit Eupora on Friday and visit Madison Central on Saturday.

Canton High 0

The Rockets put this game away in four innings as they scored three in the first, five in the second and five in the fourth.

Reid Hall was the winning pitcher. Hall helped his cause with a triple and a single. He scored two runs.

Neshoba Central outhit Canton 7-0.

Ramie Harrison had two hits, scored two runs and knocked in two RBIs. Azaylon Hickman had one hit, scored two runs and knocked in another. Dagan Martin had a single, scored a run and knocked in another.

The Rockets settled this one early as they pounded out 12 runs in the first inning and added two more in the third.

Canton’s only run came in the first inning.

E.J. Wright was the winning pitcher for Neshoba Central.

Reid Hall hit a double and a single. He scored one run and knocked in another. Harrison hit a double and a single. He scored two runs and knocked in two more. Bryceton Spencer hit a double. He scored two runs and knocked in another. Luke Wilborn had one hit, scored a run and knocked in another. Dagan Martin had one hit and knocked in another,

The Rockets finished their series with Canton by scoring nine in the first and six in the second,

Reid Hall hit a double and knocked in a run. Martin hit a double and knocked in a run while Cade Hall scored two runs. Harrison hit a double, scored a run and knocked in two runs. Garrett Martin knocked in three runs while Wilborn had a hit and a RBI.

The Rockets scored seven in the first, one in the second and nine in the third.

Ramie Harrison hit a grand slam homer and another homer. He scored two runs and knocked in five runs.

Demarkez West hit a home run. E.J. Wright, Jacob Killen and Dagan Martin all had one hit and scored two runs.

Cade Hall hit a double, scored three runs and knocked in another run.
