Rockets face Callaway after Vicksburg loss

The Neshoba Central Rockets will be playing for second place in the Region 2-5A standings going into the upcoming state playoff Friday night when they visit Jackson Callaway in the Rockets’ final regular season game.
The Rockets dropped a 14-0 decision to Vicksburg last Friday which almost assures the Gators of the No. 1 spot in the region.
Neshoba Central and Callaway both have one region loss in the standings. Neshoba Central’s overall record is 6-3. Callaway comes into the game at 7-1, only losing to Vicksburg. They close out their regular seaon next Thursday against region foe Forest Hill.
