Rockets baseball team improves to 9-2; hosting Ridgeland

The Neshoba Central baseball team came from behind to defeat the Ridgeland Titans last week.

The Rockets scored one in the sixth and five runs in the seventh. Ridgeland scored four runs in the third inning.

Sanders Griffis was the winning pitcher in relief of Reid Hall. Hall had eight strike outs while Griffis had three strikeouts.

Hall hit a sole home run in the seventh. He also had two singles. Pepper Agent hit a home run and a single. He recorded on RBI. R.B, Hardin hit a home run.

The Rockets, now 9-2 on the season, have three games this week. They were to visit Brandon High School on Wednesday, They were to host Ridgeland on Friday and Kosciusko on Saturday.
