The Neshoba Central baseball team entered the week with a 7-4 record after going 2-2 last week.

The Rockets defeated Scott Central 10-0, lost to Ridgeland 7-6, defeated Eupora 9-0 and lost 6-0 to Madison Central.

The Rockets have three games set for this weekend. They host Newton County on Friday. Later, they will take on Madison Central. On Saturday, the Rockets host Morton.

Neshoba Central banged out 11 hits and did not allow a hit against Scott Central. The Rockets scored two in the first, five in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth.

Reid Hall was the winning pitcher. He helped his cause by hitting a double.

Dagan Martin hit a double and a single. He scored two runs and knocked in another hit. Bryceton Spencer hit a double. Ramey Harrison scored two runs and knocked in another. Cade Hall hit a single and scored two runs.

Ridgeland took the lead in the top of the fifth and held on to defeat the Rockets. Neshoba Central scored two in the second, three in the third and one in the sixth. Ridgeland scored three in the second, one in the third, two in the fourth and one in the fifth. Harrison hit two singles and scored a run to lead the Rockets.

Cade Hall hit a home run to lead the Rockets past Eupora. The Rockets scored three in the first, two in the second, one in the fourth and three in the sixth,

Hall added a single. He scored four runs and knocked in another. Dagan Martin hit a single, scored a run and knocked in another. Reid Hall was the winning pitcher.

Neshoba Central went hitless in its loss to Madison Central. Madison scored five in the fourth and one in the sixth. Martin took the pitching loss.
