Robert Delane Gray

Funeral service for Mr. Robert Delane Gray was held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Lawrence Pool, Rev. Hal Hall and Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in Sandtown Cemetery. 

Robert, 69, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Rush Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born in Neshoba County and made his home in the Sandtown Community. He retired from Neshoba County Road Department after 39 ½ years. Robert loved fox hunting, deer hunting with his dogs, and visiting family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Gray; Sons, Brad Gray (Lisa) and Chad Gray (Ramona); (6) Grandchildren; Brothers, Dwight Gray (Gail) and Perry Gray; Sisters, Peggy Cooke (Wesley) and Martha Whittle (Jim); host of nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Preston and Lou Gray; brothers, Talmadge, Ray, Ross, Terry, and Gerry Gray; Sisters, Betty Morgan and Mary Daniels.

Pallbearers: Ricky Morgan, Frankie Watkins, Brian Whittle, Mike Savell, Chris Barrett, Johnny Daniels, Mitchell Bateman and Dwight Akins.
