Rev. Yates delivers Senate prayer

The Rev. Hubert Yates, center, state Director of Disaster Relief Ministries for the Mississippi Baptist Convention and a Philadelphia native, delivered the opening prayer in the state Senate on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the invitation of Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann.

Standing with them is Andrew Yates, Rev. Yates’s son and a member of Lt. Governor Hosemann’s staff.
