The Leake Academy Rebelettes had a busy week on the hardwoods.

The Rebelettes stayed unbeaten as they reeled off four more wins, beating Madison-Ridgeland Academy 55-39, Bayou 59-31, Copiah 65-21 and Jackson Academy 56-41.

The Rebels didn’t play last week as Copiah and Jackson Academy both cancelled their games.

Leake has another busy week this week as they will travel to Pillow on Tuesday and Central Hinds on Thursday. They will then host Oak Hill on Saturday in the home opener.

Leake girls 55, MRA 39

The Rebelettes used a big second period to built a double-digit lead and take a 16-point win over the Lady Patriots on Monday.

Sarah Prince led Leake with 15 points and was 6-of-9 from the field. Jenna Allen had 12 points while Addie Crowe added seven points. Marleigh Myers had six points and five rebounds while Caroline Cheatham and Anna Morgan Young each had five points apiece. Young led Leake in rebounds with six boards while Cheatham had three assists and two steals.

Leake girls 59, Bayou Academy 31

The Rebelettes outscored the Lady Colts in each of the first three periods as they cruised to a 28-point win on Tuesday at the MRA Tournament. 

Sarah Prince led Leake with 20 points and five rebounds while Marleigh Myers had 13 points and was 6-of-8 from the field and also had five rebounds and four steals. Addie Crowe had nine points. Codi Breedlove had six points while Jenna Allen had five points, six rebounds and three assists.

Leake girls 65, Copiah 21

The Rebelettes dominated the first half and cruised to a 44-point win over the Lady Colonels on Thursday.

Leake jumped out to a 22-5 lead in the first period and then outscored Copiah 25-3 in the second to take a 47-8 at the half. Leake extended the lead in the third period, outscoring Copiah 12-7 in the third and each team scored six points in the fourth period.

Marliegh Myers led Leake with 14 points and six rebounds while Jenna Allen had 14 points and three assists. Anna Morgan Young had nine points, three arebounds, three assists and three steals while Codi Breedlove had eight points.

Leake 56, Jackson Academy 41

The Rebelettes outscored the Lady Raiders in the first three periods and took a 15-point win on Saturday.

Jenna Allen led Leake with 17 points, five rebounds and four assists. Sarah Prince had 16 points and three assists while Marleigh Myers had eight points and eight rebounds. Anna Morgan Young had six points and three assists while Addie Crowe had six rebounds.
