Rebelettes basketball victorious at tournament

The Leake Academy Rebelettes got off to a good start last week with a pair of wins in the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Tournament.
Leake opened the season with a 60-35 win over Bayou on Tuesday and then beat 6A favorite MRA 42-25 on Thursday.
Leake will kick of the regular season this week as they start the season with six straight road games. Leake is scheduled to travel to Heritage on Tuesday and will travel to Copiah on Thursday. The follow week, they will play at Jackson Academy on Tuesday, Nov. 8 and then at Madison St. Joseph on Thursday, Nov. 10.
