Funeral services for Ray Charles Martin were held Monday, May 12, 2025 from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. David Addy, Bro. Danny Sephton and Bro. Larry Saxton. Burial followed in Ebeneezer Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ray Charles Martin, 77, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

Ray was a resident of Leake County in the Ebenezer Community. He was a former owner of Martin Logging and Martin Cattle Farms. Mr. Martin was a member of and a deacon at Sunrise Baptist Church.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Nancy Kilpatrick Martin; sons, Greg Martin, Jeff Martin and Yancy Martin (Brittany); five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Betty Jordan (Gerald); brother, Danny Pat Martin (Kay); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Charles Martin and Mary Moore Martin; sister, Kathy Cumberland.
