Funeral services for Mr. Preston Lee Stokes were held at 2 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Billy James officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation was 1 PM – 2 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Stokes, 65, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, MS. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County and was a mechanic. He was Baptist by Faith, and his hobbies were watching TV, fishing, and sitting on the porch.

Preceded in death by parents, Johnnie Edward Stokes and Elma Winstead Stokes; sister, Elizabeth Stokes; granddaughter, Mandy Lynne Watkins and grandson, Zackary Preston Watkins.

Survivors include daughter, Amanda Ferguson (Billy); sisters, Carol Ann Moore (Justin), Amy Horn, Linda Jayroe (Tim), Susan Holley (Rusty) , Emily Hubbard; brothers, Edward Stokes (Deedria) , Travis Stokes, Timmy Stokes (Bertha); (3) grandchildren.
