Police searching for masked burglar
A masked suspect caught on surveilance camera breaking into several trucks at a repair shop on Highway 15 last week is still being sought, the authorities said.
The break-ins occurred at McLemore Truck & Trailer Repair on Highway 15 on Tuesday, Jan. 10, officials said.
“Police are currently following up on leads to identify and charge the suspect in this case,” said Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.
Lyons said investigators believe the break in happened at about 10 p.m.
A masked suspect was seen on camera taking two CB radios from two different trucks parked at the business, he said.
According to Lyons the investigation is ongoing and although they have been unable to identify the suspect they are looking for a single suspect at this time.
“The suspect appeared to act alone in this incident,” Lyons said.
