Philadelphia Police are investigating three burglaries over the weekend.

Philadelphia Police Det. Bobby Pattillo said that a Beacon Street laundry was broken into on Saturday and break-ins at a Pecan Avenue Business and a church on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive were reported on Sunday.

Pattillo said that they had not yet ruled the possibility that the crimes are related.

“All cases are currently under investigation,” Pattillo said. “We are still working to determine if they are possibly related.”

He said that on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 5 the Beacon Street Laundry, 268 Beacon Street, was reported broken into. Pattillo said the break-in was reported about 7 a.m.

“Entry was made into an interior office and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken,” Pattillo said.

On Sunday, Dec. 6 officers responded to Dirt Cheap, 716 Pecan Ave #1, in reference to a reported burglary. Nothing was noted missing at that time.

Also on Dec. 6, The Way of Christ Apostolic Church, 250 MLK Dr., was reported broken into and a small amount of cash was reported taken.
