Police investigating 2 burglaries Friday

Philadelphia Police are investigating two burglaries reported on Friday.

Police Det. Bobby Pattillo said that there was a burglary at the Neshoba County Gin on Railroad Avenue and the Carver Avenue Church.

“Both cases are currently under investigation,” He said.

Pattillo said that on Friday, Oct. 30 officers from the PPD responded to the Neshoba County Gin in reference to a burglary that had already occurred. 

After reviewing security camera footage it was determined that two as of now unidentified suspects are involved. 

Authortieis believe the break in occurred around 2:30 a.m.

Entry had been made through the rear door and offices had been ransacked. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. 

Later that date officers responded to the Carver Avenue Church located at 251 Carver Ave. in reference to another burglary. 

“As of now it doesn’t appear that anything was taken in that case,” Pattillo said.
